While a STACK of extra buses and trains will be put on for the first-ever A-League grand final at Optus Stadium on Sunday, the same can’t be said for Friday night’s West Coast game.
Here’s what’s happening…
Tonight, public transport is included in your West Coast v Dees ticket, but there won’t be any special event buses.
This is because it clashes with peak hour and it can’t spare the extra buses.
On Sunday, Transperth will put on extra travel options for the Glory v Sydney FC grand final where about 50,000 are expected to flood the stadium.
Again, tickets to the game include travel on all Transperth services for three hours either side of the match. Note that special even buses will operate an hour after the final whistle.
