The body of a man who had failed to resurface while swimming in Perth’s south-east has been found.
The man had been with a family member near the Champion Lakes Regatta Centre on Thursday evening when, about 6.15pm, he went for a swim.
He disappeared after only swimming a short distance.
Just after 9am on Friday, police divers recovered the 26-year-old from the water.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
