Two workers have been airlifted to hospital after falling from scaffolding at Hotel Rottnest.
It’s understood that a man fell three metres from the top of the scaffolding, St John Ambulance told WAtoday.
It was reported that the man was working on the new Hotel Rottnest Resort development when the scaffolding collapsed from a concrete pour, trapping him under debris.
It’s understood he was rescued by career and private volunteer firefighters.
A second person was also injured.
The RAC Rescue helicopter has since airlifted the men to Royal Perth Hospital.
