Another footy game that produced a skin-tight margin over the weekend was the WAFL grand final.
South Fremantle (46) took home the 2020 Premiership from Claremont (43) by just 3 gut-wrenching points.
However, it was after the match that’s copped controversy.
Fans could be heard booing Claremont’s Jye Bolton after he won the coveted Simpson Medal.
It’s understood he was targeted simply because he was from the opposing team.
And all the flogs that booedhim when it was announced.

“I always thought that win, lose or draw you shake your opponent’s hand and you congratulate them, so it was a bit disappointing there.”
“I guess that’s the passion that sport brings out sometimes.”
Lisa completely disagreed.
“No, it’s not passion,” she said.
“I don’t think we should even allow… booing is disgusting, I hate it when people do it.”
