Collingwood captain Scott Pendlebury has been isolated from his teammates as he displayed flu-like symptoms.

The Magpies skipper has already missed two training sessions.

Collingwood has made no statement about his availability for Friday’s opener against Western Bulldogs.

It is unknown if Pendlebury has been tested for COVID-19.

Meanwhile, the AFL has reduced the season to just 17 rounds, with teams playing each other once.
