In news that blindsided everyone, West Coast have green-lighted Elliot Yeo to play his first AFL game in 293 days.
Yeo will play his first match since round 11 of 2020 after being sidelined with osteitis pubis.
“In the last nine months, he’s had more work on that groin that John Bobbitt,” Ryan Daniels told The Bunch on Friday.
Jokes aside, Daniels voiced real concern for Yeo, calling the club’s decision to play him a surprising call.
“I’m happy for Elliot Yeo,” he said.
“If it works out, I’m happy for the West Coast Eagles but the issue is… this injury in particular is one of those ones that you never feel quite great about.”
