Basketball fans have been left absolutely fuming after expensive tickets to the historic Australia-USA match turned out to be a massive letdown.
The raised court at Marvel Stadium meant that fans with the ground-level seats could barely see a thing, and on top of that there $1000+ pricetag could only get them an underwhelming white, plastic chair.
Russell Crowe tweeted a video from his $1500 courtside seats stating he would’ve been better off staying at home.
Australia lost the first match 102-86. The second game is on Saturday afternoon.
$1500 a ticket for this view. AUS v USA .
Jokes on me.
If you weren’t among 50,000 there and you chose to watch it on tv at home, good decision . pic.twitter.com/VlNuXWp6iI— Russell Crowe (@russellcrowe) August 22, 2019
Not sure how most of the people in the non-tiered floor seating will be able to see anything? pic.twitter.com/A6hRoH3ZHD
