The pigeon which took centre stage during the weekend’s clash between Geelong and Hawthorn at the MCG could be up for a Brownlow.
“That pigeon just stood in that centre square for pretty much the entire first quarter and they couldn’t get him out,” Ryan Daniels recalled for The Bunch on Tuesday.
Daniels didn’t stop there, also revealing the game’s Brownlow ‘count’… to which the bird got a nod.
