The accolades just keep coming for Fremantle legend and resident Benjamin Button David Mundy.

On Monday, the 36-year-old club veteran got the nod for the 40-man AFL All Australian squad, alongside teammate Sean Darcy and Eagle Nic Naitanui.

The final 22-man team will be named on Thursday.

Only a day earlier, despite the Dockers suffered a finals-ending 58-point defeat to St Kilda in Hobart, there was still a massive reason to celebrate… Mundy had hit 354 games, surpassing Matthew Pavlich’s record for the club.

So, why wasn’t he chaired off the field?
