It’s been a whopping 41 years since This Is Spinal Tap first turned the amps up to 11… and now, the world’s most accident-prone rock band is back!

Spinal Tap II: The End Continues reunites the legendary trio – David St. Hubbins (Michael McKean), Nigel Tufnel (Christopher Guest), and Derek Smalls (Harry Shearer) – for one last gig… whether they like it or not. Rob Reiner returns behind the camera as Marty Di Bergi, the slightly-too-invested documentarian determined to capture one more moment of heavy metal greatness (or disaster).

This time around, the band is older, possibly wiser, and still mourning the loss of… well, 11 drummers. But they’re not going it alone – music royalty like Paul McCartney, Elton John, Garth Brooks, and Questlove are along for the ride. Whether they’re fans or collateral damage remains to be seen.

If the first film was a cult classic, this sequel promises to be the encore no one saw coming: a celebration of egos, amps, and absolutely no idea how volume knobs work.

Spinal Tap II: The End Continues hits cinemas September 25.

Mark it down, polish your double-neck guitar, and remember: there’s a fine line between stupid… and clever.
