Louis Theroux is developing a new documentary through his production company, Mindhouse, exploring how online misogyny is impacting young men today.

The project is described as a factual companion to the acclaimed UK drama ‘Adolescence’, which followed teenager Jamie after his arrest for the murder of a female classmate.

The four-part one-take series explored how boys can be radicalised into misogynists online, sparking debate among parents and politicians.

Theroux’s documentary will look at the global influence of Andrew Tate, notorious for his misogynistic views, and will feature an interview with UK vlogger HSTikkyTokky, who was banned from TikTok last year for “hateful behaviour” towards women.

Filming is already underway, with the series expected to land on Netflix next year.
