Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea has added yet another acting role to his IMDB resumé with an appearance in Disney’s upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi miniseries, arriving later this month.

While Flea isn’t billed as one of the series’ stars, he’s said to feature prominently in at least one episode wielding a “cool-looking blaster.”

Obi-Wan Kenobi director Deborah Chow also worked with Flea on the Chili Peppers’ “Black Summer” music video, which arrived this past February.

While acting is far from Flea’s main gig, the bassist has turned up in several big projects over the years, including Back to the Future Part II, The Big Lebowski, Baby Driver and the upcoming film Babylon.

Flea joins an impressive case of recognisable faces who have joined the Star Wars universe on Disney+, including Bill Burr, Rosario Dawson, Timothy Olyphant, Amy Sedaris, Horatio Sanz and others.

Obi-Wan Kenobi will launch on Disney+ on May 27.
