The Star Wars Universe is about to get bigger and badder (in a good way) as we all get ready for the long wait to 2024 and the release of the first-ever open world, Star Wars: Outlaws.

The game created by Ubisoft was announced as part of the giant Xbox Showcase this week and Ubisoft Forward, but we now have more details which has us eagerly wanting our hands on it.

One of the details is that it’s being worked on by Navid Khavari, who was a Narrative Director on the Far Cry games and most recently Far Cry 6. This is a series of games known for amazing storytelling and expansive open-world environments that will take your breath away. He takes on the role of Narrative Director for Star Wars: Outlaws, so we know it’s in good hands.

This brand new chapter is set between the events of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back and Star Wars: Return of the Jedi where the Empire is at its strongest.

In the game, you’ll be able to freely travel from land to space where you will be confronted by dogfights and much larger space battles aboard your ship – The Trailblazer.

Playing as Kay-Vess, you’ll explore new and iconic locations across the galaxy, and risking it all as an emerging scoundrel seeking freedom and the means to start a new life. Joined by your trusty companion Nix, you’ll fight, steal, and outwit crime syndicates as you join the galaxy’s most wanted.

Nix is a small creature who is used to navigate areas you can’t reach, push buttons and create diversions.

Humberly González plays the role of Kay-Vess, Watch this feature to get a glimpse and understanding of her character, especially those moments where she is interacting with other characters like Nix.
