Step aside NCIS: Los Angeles, NCIS: Hawaii and NCIS: New Orleans… for the very first time, the hit crime series is about to branch out from the US.
An Aussie series from the global franchise – NCIS: Sydney – has just been announced.
NCIS Sydney will launch in 2023 on Paramount+ and Network 10 and feature local stories and creative talent, including NCIS: Los Angeles creator, Aussie Shane Brennan.
Production will kick off later this year and cast announcements are expected soon.
NCIS and its spin-offs have been seen in more than 200 markets worldwide and NCIS has previously won the international audience award as the most watched TV series.
In the US, NCIS is the most-watched series.
