It’s happening. KFC is beginning a trial of its first ever plant-based menu item in Australia, Wicked Popcorn.
Taking the iconic spice of Wicked Wings and packing it into popcorn-sized morsels, this mouthwatering combo of two fan-favourites is perfect for those looking to substitute their meat eats with an alternative.
It’s also accompanied by a brand-new Lime Ranch dipping sauce, so you’re getting spice, zest and crunch all in the one bite there’s also a Wicked Popcorn Bowl.
As it’s only being trialled at this point, it’ll be hitting just a handful of KFC’s in NSW until September 5. But if all goes well, who knows, we could see it be rolled out on a more national level.
