Free rapid antigen tests will be made available to more than a million West Aussie households, the Premier announced over the weekend.

In a first for the country, an initial 5.3 million free RATs have been allocated to West Australians, with each household eligible for five tests.

People need to register online to have the tests delivered to their home – regional areas prioritised initially – which could take up to 15 business days.

Once registered, people will receive confirmation with a unique order number, which is required if they elect to collect their free RATs from a designated collection point in the metropolitan area.

Collection for registered orders will be open from Monday at the Perth Airport collection point.

Anyone who cannot register online, can ring 13 COVID (13 26843) to get their free RATs.
