Not gonna lie, it took me a couple of goes to get through the trailer for ‘Imaginary’, a new flick from the same sickos who produced The Black Phone, M3GAN and Five Nights At Freddy’s.

It’s about Jessica, a woman returns to her childhood home and moves her family in. Sounds pretty tame, right?

Yes, until her young stepdaughter Alice finds a stuffed bear named Chauncey in the basement. As Alice begins to play with Chauncey, her behaviour becomes more erratic and her family realises the teddy is much more than just a stuffed bear.

Jessica soon discovers that the imaginary friend she left behind is very real and very unhappy that she abandoned him.

‘Imaginary’ hits theatres March 8.
