Anxiety is stealing the spotlight in Disney/Pixar’s highly anticipated sequel to ‘Inside Out.’
‘Inside Out 2’ will see the return of our feelings of Joy, Anger, Sadness, Fear and Disgust personified and… actually no, to say it’s ‘highly anticipated’ is one HECK of an understatement. In just 24 hours, the trailer clocked a staggering 157 million views, which has left the previous record of 116.4 million, made by ‘Frozen 2’ in 2019, in the absolute dust.
The story picks up again with Riley, who is now a teenager and dealing with new, complex, messy feelings… which now includes the new emotion on the block Anxiety, portrayed by Maya Hawke.
There’s still a bit of a wait, ‘Inside Out 2’ hits theatres June 14, 2024.
