Zac Efron is about to hit our screens with both a very handsome moustache and one helluva story.
After it premieres at the Toronto International Film Festival next week, ‘The Greatest Beer Run Ever’ is set to stream on AppleTV from September 30.
From the quirky comedy king (‘There’s Something About Mary’, ‘Dumb and Dumber’) Peter Farrelly comes the true story of John ‘Chickie’ Donohue who, in 1967, was challenged one night in a New York City bar by some friends who had lost family and friends in the ongoing war in Vietnam.
The challenge? That one of them should sneak into Vietnam, track down their buddies in combat, and give each of them messages of support from back home, maybe some laughs, and beer.
