Hot cross buns are the best. The OG fruit flavour, chocolate, even apple cinnamon, and Coles has decided to spice things up with chilli.

Yep. Chilli.

Apparently the limited-edition flavour has partly come off the back of Coles’ Bakery Stone Baked by Laurent Mini Pane Di Casa range, where the jalapeño loaf has been a huge hit.

The new buns are baked with diced jalapeño, parmesan and cheddar cheeses, and finished off with an extra layer of cheddar cheese on top.
