Incredible cosplay again took over Manhattan for the annual New York Comic Con where fandoms unite to celebrate film, manga, TV, comics, video games and other genres (and sub-genres) of pop culture.

The four-day convention is a major event for the entertainment industry, featuring panels, exclusive previews, celebrity appearances, and announcements… such a new Dragon Ball Z series and a new teaser for The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live spin-off starring OG characters Rick and Michonne (Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira).

But it’s always the creative crowd-goers that take the event by storm and iHeartRadio compiled a number of OMG-worthy ensembles:

A cosplayer poses as Pvt. Vasquez from ‘Aliens’

Cosplaying as a Batman x Joker crossover

A cosplayer as Lego Green Goblin

The classic cosplay: Wonder Woman & Superman

A cosplayer dressed as a Mimic from Dungeons & Dragons.

Posing as Marvel Comics’ Doctor Octopus, also known as Doc Ock for short.

Wolverine gets interviewed.

A cosplayer poses as Marvel supervillain Mysterio. We hope he can breathe OK.

Darth Vader was not pleased with the cosplaying barbershop quartet.

The original Comic Con was founded in 1970 as the Golden State Comic Book Convention by a group of comic book enthusiasts in California, which is now known as San Diego Comic-Con International.
