If you’re not into ~colourful~ language, Wicked Little Letters will not be the movie for you.

However, if you’re into comedy, small-town scandals and the flinging of some top notch 1920’s insults, it just might be.

Set in the 1920s, this profanity-laden movie follows the real-life scandal where residents of the English seaside town of Sussex begin to receive hilariously foul-mouthed but anonymous letters, including Edith Swan, a deeply conservative local played by Olivia Colman.

On Thursday, our movie man Ben O’Shea reviewed it, the main take away being it was ‘about as close to acting perfection as you can get’. Huge.
