Kicking off this Sunday, MasterChef: Dessert Masters hits screens and instead of being a battle of home cooks, instead it’ll be a battle of 10 of Australia’s best pastry chefs, chocolate connoisseurs and baking experts the show can get their hands on.

These legends aside, it gets even better.

Joining Melissa Leong as a judge is world-class pastry chef Amaury Guichon.

The name might not right a bell, but this absolute dessert freak has over 30 million followers on social media, and his creations have earned him titles like ‘mad genius’ and ‘IRL Willy Wonka’.

That picture of him with the velociraptor? He made it out of chocolate.

Clairsy & Lisa spoke to Melissa on Friday, who shared an interesting tidbit about her incredible co-host.
