You read that right, Perth’s own dumpling king will shift gears at this year’s Good Food & Wine Show this time by showcasing noodles.

“I’ll be on the main stage making some hand-smacked noodles,” he said.

“It’s like you stretch it out and smack it against the bench,” he clarified. Phew.

“It’s so much fun.”

We were surprised to learn that Pang barely uses any equipment to make his noods, which is something that his audience will learn at The Good Food & Wine Show.

“The biggest thing for me is cooking without any fancy technology or equipment, [I like] being able to go down south or to travel and make noodles and dumplings from scratch.”
