The South West city has proven it has totally understood the assignment when it comes to providing a park and playground space that isn’t just for tiny tots, but the rest of us.

The yet-to-be-named hub officially opens on Thursday, but locals have had a few days’ head start on the $8m park’s multi-sports court, skate park, parkour walls, mini-golf and beach climbing net.

Every step of the project was driven by the community and Bunbury’s Youth Advisory Council.

If you’re down that way for the school holidays, head to Luciana Park adjacent to the popular Leschenault Inlet in the CBD to check it out.

You might want to also add Perth’s parkour playground to your list as well as the giant scaled-up playground for grown-ups in Katanning.
