Fremantle legend David Mundy reckons their bus driver was a Cats supporter after dropping the Dockers off a fair distance from GMHBA Stadium on Saturday, where they ended up stunning Geelong with a memorable three-point win.

Normally the team bus would drop players off on the street right outside the oval so they can just head straight in.

“I dunno, our bus driver for this trip must’ve been a Geelong fan, he actually took us to the wrong spot,” Mundy told Clairsy & Lisa on Wednesday.

He said his team ended up having to walk ‘about 800 metres’ to get to the stadium.

It also meant having to walk among many footy fans also heading to the game.
