After spending some time overseas to further his rugby career, Kyle Godwin isn’t just back with the first pro club he ever joined as a 19-year-old, he’s now vice captain of the Western Force.

Godwin, now 29, is keen to ‘get stuck into these Brumbies boys’ in Sunday’s Super Rugby Pacific opening round clash – particularly after 100 days of preseason training.

This was the first time we chatted to Godwin, and Clairsy & Lisa were keen to find out exactly why this Perth-raised lad got into rugby and not AFL…

The Western Force will face-off with the Brumbies at 11am on Sunday, February 20 at GIO Stadium.
